Chapter 27 Shock, Exclamation, Mastery! A Motorcycles Breakout!
Thud! The clear sound echoed as the doll hit the ground. As everyone’s gaze settled on the toy lying there, a collective bafflement took hold.
“Damn, what’s going on? Where’s the child? The one who screamed?”
“Have I gone mad? What the hell is happening?”
“This? What’s this?”
The viewers stared wide-eyed at their screen, their mouths agape, taken aback by the unfolding scene. Their minds were swamped with questions. What was happening? Where were the cries and screams of the little girl coming from? What was the real situation?
It wasn’t just the audience at home. The five officers on the scene also looked perplexedly at the doll.
One of the officers walked over and picked up the doll in a daze. He turned, holding it stiffly.
“We’ve been duped,” an officer remarked with a mix of shock and regret evident on his face. “That voice was Wang Yun’s own doing.”
