Not knowing why Lee Hoyeon decided to save Nam Daeun, Scarlett felt compelled to prepare a narrative just in case Hoyeon wanted to explain himself.

While munching on her chicken, Nam Daeun listened intently to Scarlett’s freshly concocted tale.
“Yes, I only followed his orders… Oh, why are you tearing up?” Scarlett, in mid-sentence, couldn’t hide her surprise as Daeun’s eyes became moist.
