Chapter 174 - 173: Warmth
Although the rain had lessened, one umbrella wasn’t enough for two people, especially since Han Yi was nearly 1.8 meters tall.
By the time they got home, half of Han Yi’s body was almost soaked. I, however, was completely dry, sheltered in Han Yi’s embrace.
When they arrived home, Grandma was still up. She had already prepared hot water and brewed some ginger sugar water for them, telling them to drink a bowl after showering.
Lin Wan showered first, and when she came out, she saw Grandma rubbing her legs as she walked into the room saying, "Drink up and go to bed early; Grandma is going to sleep first."
"Grandma, are your legs hurting? Let me accompany you to have them checked tomorrow," Lin Wan quickly supported her and said.
"It’s an old ailment; it always acts up during rainy days. There’s nothing much to check. It’ll get better once the weather clears. You two should rest; it’s getting late."
When Han Yi returned to the room, he saw Lin Wan in her pajamas, lying on the bed and sipping a bowl of ginger sugar water.
Seeing Han Yi come in, Lin Wan handed over what was left to him, "You should have some too."
Han Yi took it and drank the rest in one go. Then he directly got onto the bed.
The rain was pattering outside, and inside, the shy warmth between the two suddenly escalated.
