Reborn in the 1980s: Recapture My Devoted Husband

Chapter 24 - 23: Han Yi’s Family

After the dumplings were served, Lin Wan sat outside, knitting a sweater while watching the rain. She also... listened to the conversation between the two.

"Dad, if he doesn’t want to come back, just let him be. Why insist on him returning to our place? Mom won’t be happy either if he does." The young manager said reluctantly.

"How can a child of our family drift outside? I’ll explain it to your mom. Han Yi is capable; having him back is good for our family. Stay in touch with him whenever you can, to foster some brotherly feelings. Otherwise, you’ll become estranged when you meet."

"...Got it." The young manager agreed verbally, but deep down, he was dismissive.

So it was Han Yi’s father and brother. In her past life, she didn’t really know Han Yi. Although they were married for two years, he never talked to her about his family situation. She only knew he came from a single-parent family, living with Grandma since childhood, and his mom had remarried, so he wasn’t very close to them.

Thinking about it now, it seemed laughable. Her past self seemed so oblivious.

While Lin Wan was lost in thought, the father and son had already finished eating.

"Waiter, the bill, please."
