Chapter 17 - 16: Unemployed Youth
Got interested, for the past two nights I haven’t been studying diligently, but instead learned to knit scarves.
Mom’s scarf is yellow, Lin Wan chose herself, she wanted a scarf. The sweater she knitted for herself is red, with a white lotus-shaped large collar.
She also knitted herself a loose cardigan with a braided pattern, a bit Korean vintage style.
It looks very nice when worn.
Lin Wan considered herself to be in vogue. In her past life, she saw other girls wearing it and thought it looked great, secretly envying being born at the wrong time.
Now, suddenly back in her youthful days, she naturally couldn’t miss out.
The first day Lin Wan wore it outside, her neighbor immediately fancied it and insisted on asking Lin Wan where she bought it.
"Sister Ma, I knitted this myself. If Sister Ma wants it, I’ll make it for you in a week. Ten yuan per piece, Sister Ma can choose the color herself." Lin Wan has become acquainted with several nearby families during this period. She knows that Sister Ma’s husband works at the town government, and Sister Ma also teaches at the town’s elementary school. They have been married for two years and have no children yet, with some savings on hand.
"So expensive, Lin sister, make it cheaper." She really wanted it; it looked great on her. As a teacher, she was very particular about clothing.
