Chapter 1364: Go Help Her Hold the Umbrella
"Young Madam?" Olly quickly realized what he was referring to and felt a bit strange inside. Still, she quickly replied, "Young Master, Young Madam is fertilizing that Purple Vine Tree."
Didn’t the Young Master know that the Young Madam planted a tree downstairs? Why would he still ask her?
"In such cold weather, she’s been out in the cold for so long just to fertilize a tree?" Matthew Saxon’s tone became odd.
This is simply absurd.
Matthew Saxon felt this matter was utterly absurd.
She’s completely lost her mind.
What normal person would do such a thing?
The Saxon Family has gardeners. If you need to fertilize a tree, there are plenty of professionals available. Why would she need to do it herself?
Olly felt that strange feeling growing stronger. She slowly turned around and looked at Matthew Saxon with some doubt, hesitatingly saying, "Young Master, that... that tree has always been taken care of personally by the Young Madam."
Seeing that Matthew Saxon seemed to know nothing about this, the doubt in Olly’s eyes deepened, "Young Master, at the time, you even had a gardener immediately buy saplings to plant, and you gave all the other empty spaces in the garden for the Young Madam to manage, saying it was for her to plant whatever plants she likes."
Matthew Saxon frowned, full of suspicion, "That tree downstairs, I had someone plant it?"
How could he have had someone engage in such a trivial matter?
But Olly had been in the Saxon Family for so many years, always serving him; she couldn’t possibly lie to him.
Did he really do so many trivial things for Scarlett Yates before?
"Young Master, you don’t remember?" Olly was greatly surprised, her eyes wide as she stared at Matthew Saxon in astonishment.
The others still didn’t know about Matthew Saxon’s amnesia.
Matthew Saxon didn’t plan to make it public either. He rubbed his brow with a nonchalant expression and said, "Recently, there’s been too much going on, and I couldn’t remember for a moment. Hearing you remind me, there does seem to be such a thing."
His tone revealed undisguised fatigue.
Olly was easy to dismiss; even though Matthew Saxon’s excuse was clumsy, she still readily believed it.
She didn’t think much of it, assuming Matthew Saxon was just too tired, and caringly advised, "Young Master, you must rest well and not wear yourself out."
Matthew Saxon nodded, waved his hand, and gestured for Olly to leave.
But just as Olly took a step, he called her back.
Olly turned around, blinked, and asked in confusion, "Young Master, is there anything else?"
Matthew Saxon remained silent for a while, with a somewhat hesitant expression on his face. After a moment, he said softly, "It’s still snowing outside. Your Young Madam forgot to bring an umbrella. She’s still down there now. Go hold an umbrella for her to shield her from the rain and snow, so she doesn’t get too cold."
He shouldn’t meddle.
They agreed to have nothing to do with each other, so what if it’s cold outside? She chose to brave the cold herself; it’s not like he pushed her out.
Whether she gets too cold and falls ill has nothing to do with him.
If she truly gets sick from the cold, it’s something she brought upon herself.
Why choose now to mess with that tree? It’s not like there’s nothing better to do.
Telling himself not to care and deciding not to, his resolve faltered when he thought of that face turning blue from the cold.
