The final, desperate charge was a terrifying sight. The combined forces of three factions, their rivalries forgotten in a shared moment of "we have to stop that guy," surged towards Ryan.
Energy bolts from the Crimson Banner, sonic pulses from the Circuit Breakers, and the furious roars of the last few Iron Wolves all blended into a single wave of impending doom.
They were less than sixty seconds from victory or defeat, and they were putting all their chips on this one last bet.
Ryan watched them come, his hands still resting on the console. He could have tried to stop them with more tricks. He could have dropped more floor panels, raised more energy walls, or even tried to collapse the ceiling. But that was playing defense.
He was tired of playing defense. It was time to end this.
He took a deep breath, closed his eyes for a second, and pushed every last bit of his will and concentration into the god Weaver. He wasn’t just asking for a small environmental effect this time. He was asking for a system-wide reboot. He was hitting the big, red, "nope" button.
"Okay, Weaver," he thought, a grim smile on his face. "Let’s try a factory reset."
He channeled a massive, almost unimaginable surge of pure, raw energy directly from the Weaver’s core. He didn’t shape it into a beam or a wall. He let it explode outwards, not as a wave of destruction, but as a wave of pure, absolute order.
