"I will personally deal with the Wendigos. I need to check a new skill I’ve acquired."
Matilda rose to her feet. "The auction? Maybe it has something to do with the Dragon Messenger... You can go. At noon, I will take care of the Wendigos."
Jabez nodded, stood up, and vanished from the room.
"So troublesome," Matilda grumbled.

Ten minutes later, in the grand Throne Hall, a man in a white mage robe, adorned with two white dragon wings and two white horns, bowed his head before Matilda.
"My Queen... I am the Dragon Nation Imperial Messenger."
Matilda inclined her head. "So... what’s your message?" she inquired.
"The Dragon Emperor invites you to the Supreme Auction!" he announced, stretching forth his hands to present a gleaming golden invitation card.
"You are allowed to bring three relatives! The Empress must already know this."
Matilda merely extended a finger, and the invitation rose into the air, gracefully floating towards her palm.
