The clang of metal on stone echoed through the dungeon as Jinx watched the two Ogres open the cell door, two more guards looming behind them.
’They shouldn’t know my hand is healed.’ She thought, her mind racing.
With a groan, the heavy metal door swung inward, and the four hulking figures lumbered into the cell. Jinx slowly pushed herself up from the cold floor, while the little girl huddled deeper into the shadows of the corner.
"Take your real appearance!" the Ogre who had broken her hand snarled, his voice a cold blade.
Jinx’s eyebrow shot up.
"....?!"
She hadn’t expected that.
"I said take your true face!" he spat again, impatience lacing his tone.
"I won’t!!" Jinx retorted, defiance flaring in her eyes.
"You!!" The second Ogre advanced, his massive hand closing around her shoulder.
