"Hahaha! What are you saying?! Of course, they will pick us! I have the workers under my control, while Mo has the trade—"
Lan stopped abruptly as Vince, Alexandra, Chloe, Steven, Josh, and Bobbi walked towards Sunny and his group, positioning themselves staunchly behind them.
".....?!"
The two heads and their factions watched in shock as all the soldiers, one by one, moved to stand behind Sunny. In less than five minutes, every single soldier was now aligned with Sunny, leaving Mo and Lan isolated with only their personal retinues.
".....?!"
Mo looked behind him, seeing nothing but his own men and empty space. He then sharply turned to Mila, who stood with her people. "What about you, Head Mila! Don’t tell me you’re joining him!" he yelled, a tremor of disbelief in his voice.
’These fools don’t know the force behind this Kid,’ Mila thought, observing the scene. ’He might be a Sky Rank, but his strength is far from that... Not only that, millions of troops are behind him, ready for his command... If he really wants our territories, he wouldn’t have to go through all this. He could just give a single order to the mercenaries, and we would be wiped out... Only a fool would pick the wrong side.’
With these thoughts solidifying her resolve, Mila walked towards Sunny, her people following closely behind. They all took their places behind him, an unspoken declaration of their allegiance.
"...?!"
Mo, Lan, and their remaining followers were utterly stunned. But Sunny, addressing the people still standing behind the two heads, spoke.
"Are you really going to risk your lives for them?" he asked with a sigh. "I know most of you have lovers, friends, and families behind me. Will you stand there and die, or will you rather come over here and live with them?" He shook his head sadly. "Oh well... It seems you all are simply brainless. Your lovers and friends will surely forget you, and you will be known as traitors for life." He raised his sword. "Okay then... Don’t force my—"
