Chapter 25: All You Have To Do Is Bow
"Ahem!"
The Dwarves’ King cleared his throat, his gaze unwavering as he repeated, "What did you say?"
"I don’t like repeating myself," Sunny replied, his voice a cold blade.
The king nodded, then turned to his Advisor, who had already finalized the calculations.
"The total cost for equipment for two million people is two hundred and twenty billion galaxy crystals," the Dwarf stated, pushing his reading glasses further up his nose. "Adding the grand equipment for the five, which costs two hundred billion galaxy crystals each, the total comes to one trillion, two hundred and twenty billion... Yes, 1.2 trillion galaxy crystals."
"That?! More than a trillion!" Nioh spat out, his voice rising to a yell. "Aren’t you guys cheating us?!"
"Young man," the Advisor began, his tone calm and measured. "Our grand equipment is all high-stage. We don’t deal in ’balance equipment,’ but rather special equipment. This means a Beastify human can wear our Beastify equipment and become invincible. No weapon, unless it’s a grand-class one, can penetrate the defense of our armor. Most importantly, all their boosts are above 10,000%, with extra celestial energy measuring up to 20,000%. With our equipment, you will be a god." A smirk played on his lips. "Now you know why we are still standing. We might not be as strong as the Star Nation, but we aren’t weak."
Nioh was flabbergasted, but the Advisor wasn’t finished.
"I see two Beastify humans, a Three-Eye race member, and two humans among your group," he observed, his eyes scanning them. "We have armors for all your races, which will greatly increase your strength. Of course, you will have all these if your king can afford it." He finished, fixing his gaze on Sunny.
’Hmm... I only have four hundred billion at most! If I had known, I would have come here when I just received the quest... Anyway, I won’t back down. I will just pay now, and pay the rest when I get another quest,’ Sunny mused internally, then pulled out his card.
"Good," Sunny said, extending his card to the Advisor. "I am impressed with your explanation, I just hope it is the beast."
