Chapter 373: Quincy’s Invasion of Hueco Mundo

Haschwalth’s proposal immediately sparked murmurs and murmuring among the gathered quincy divisions.
However, the aura of His Majesty Yhwach still loomed over them, heavy and unquestionable. So unlike the previous outbursts, no one dared raise their voice too loudly.
Yhwach gave Haschwalth a subtle nod, signaling him to continue.
Haschwalth spoke with calm conviction. "Kyo Mazuru, the current ruler of Hueco Mundo, was once one of Aizen Sosuke’s followers. After Aizen’s defeat, he inherited Aizen’s will and took control of Hueco Mundo. Over a year ago, Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni, the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, led a full-scale expedition against him... and lost. The Soul Society’s campaign against Hueco Mundo ended in failure."
He paused, letting the weight of that statement sink in.
"The Soul Society has remained on high alert ever since. They’ve intensified their drills and war exercises, clearly fearing another conflict. The scars of their defeat haven’t faded—and neither has the animosity between them and Hueco Mundo."
"Sooner or later," Haschwalth continued, "there will be another war between them. Their hatred is deep, irreconcilable. And we, who also bear centuries of hatred for the shinigami, can become allies with Hueco Mundo."
He raised his hand and declared, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
If this had been the Hueco Mundo of old, Haschwalth would never have uttered the word "alliance". He would have spoken only of conquest. But times had changed. Too rapidly, in fact.
Under Aizen’s transformation experiments, Hueco Mundo had evolved. No longer a land of mindless beasts, it was now home to powerful arrancars with unique abilities and intelligence. After Aizen’s fall, Mazuru didn’t allow that unity to collapse—instead, he solidified it. He gave Hueco Mundo something it never truly had before: a leader, and a purpose.
Hueco Mundo on its own might be manageable.
