Second, one must meet his hollow-self in his body and defeat it. These two conditions were indispensable, otherwise it was impossible to successfully hollowfy.
Although Beelzebub was an arrancar and the leader of Espada, in the final analysis, he was also a hollow.
He swallowed Mazuru, a shinigami, into his body, and in turn, it could be seen that he merged into Mazuru’s body.
