Kisuke thought that Aizen was unwilling to admit his failure, and seeing him ending up in such a state, he couldn't help but respond to Aizen.

Somehow, before he knew the correct answer, he got angry to the ultimate, and after really knowing that Kisuke understood the existence of that thing but was still willing to be subjugated, he was not so much angry anymore.
Its fine if Kisuke didn't know, but he knew what the Soul King actually is, but still succumbed to it. This only showed that Kisuke was also a pedantic person.
It was a waste of his excellent mind.
