Chapter 139: Toshiro’s Request
Rangiku seems to have a clue.
At first, she thought that the captain disappeared because she didn't stop him, so she fell into deep self-blame.
Now, although her self-blame still exists, she has also understood another important fact. The disappearance of the captain is not a matter affecting only her, it is a matter that affects everyone in the Tenth Division.
As a result, she only cared about her own feelings, and ignored the feelings of the entire team.
Since the disappearance of the captain was her fault, then she should take the initiative to bear the responsibility and lead the entire Tenth Division out of this quagmire, instead of hiding alone in the captain's room and evading responsibility as she is doing right now.
Rangiku thought about it deeply and then she looked at Mazuru and said, "Captain Mazuru, thank you!"
She stepped forward and hugged Mazuru. Before Mazuru could react she separated from him and left the captain's room. She was really glad of having a friend like Mazuru and thus Rangiku, the extroverted Tenth Division vice-captain of the past, was back.
After she walked out of the captain's room, she went back to her room, took a shower, and changed her clothes. Although her face was still haggard, after her face clearly shows determination which she was lacking the past days.
Then, Rangiku began to deal with the team affairs of the Tenth Division which had piled up during this period as the vice-captain.
Even if the captain is gone, the Tenth Division is still the Tenth Division, it shouldn't stop doing its job.
After returning to the Third Division, it didn't take long for Mazuru to know about the changes in the Tenth Division.
