Echoes of Vengeance: The Sweet Wife's Perfect Revenge

Chapter 107: Terms of Protection (1)

Vivienne wasn’t been found yet.

Daniel Anderson’s location was unknown.

Charlie Harmon was waiting to be released.

Worst of all, Aveline was being threatened.

Damien had been frustrated throughout the night. No solution to any issue was satisfying him.

As if those weren’t enough to keep him on edge, his exhausted secretary placed the iPad in front of him when the clock hadn’t even hit seven in the morning.

Damien looked at the cover picture. Same dress, same location, but the caption was different. ’She was like a Magnet.’

Damien reluctantly played the video. Vivienne appeared more composed. She leaned in as she spoke, "The second time. It was a beach holiday on his business trip. I was waiting for him on the deck of our yacht, watching the horizon."

She smiled faintly, almost embarrassed. "Then she appeared." Her eyes glinted. "She boarded another yacht. It was sleek, stunning, and far more expensive. It was named after her. Of course it was."

After a beat, "She was with her friends, all laughing, radiant in a beach dress that fluttered like sea foam. I stood there, forgetting him, and watched her yacht floating away."

Her expression hardened. "Then he arrived, and we left for our sunset cruise." She laughed suddenly. "But my eyes found her. We were far yet too close to ignore. And then... she dove into the ocean like she belonged there."
