Chapter 314: The Land Of Giants
Four months later...
Adrian stepped out of the portal and onto a new floor, ready to conquer it as well. But the moment his feet touched the ground, he felt an odd sensation. A sensation of being tiny, like an ant.
He knew things would be like that, but even then, he hadn’t expected to be awestruck by the sheer size of everything around him.
The trees towered into the sky, their trunks as wide as city buildings. The leaves were massive, each one large enough to use as a boat to cross a river.
As for the grass, their usual ankle-high length now towered over him like buildings. Everything in front of him had grown to gigantic proportions.
"Well, this is different," Adrian mumbled.
He had been climbing the tower for nearly five months now, moving from one floor to the next. Conquering whatever challenge that was thrown his way.
But the eleventh floor was something else entirely. The air, the scent of earth and leaves, and the distant sound of creatures moving through the forest. Everything was familiar, yet strange at the same time. It felt like the whole place was alive, watching him, judging him.
"So, this is the land of giants," he whispered.
