Chapter 248: Chimaera Tamer (2)
"Bark all you want," Garath smirked, swirling his whip. "You will be a part of my army of slaves!"
"Keep telling that to yourself," Adrian retorted, summoning Hydra’s fang.
The next moment, Garath’s whip shot towards Adrian like a venomous serpent, seeking its prey, who weaved out of its path while rushing towards the nomad. Tim decided it was enough and lunged as well.
However, before he could get any closer, Fenris jumped him, scratching his cheek with her sharp claws.
Tim rolled through the mud, digging his hand in the ground to stop himself. However, there was no moment of respite for him as Fenris howled, increasing her size as well as summoning two shadow wolves to keep Tim busy.
"Get out of my way!" Tim snarled, rushing towards the wolves.
The shadow wolves charged towards him, but being the ace assassin, he quickly took care of one of them while jumping past the other. He had no intention of getting wrapped up by mere beasts when the one he wanted revenge on was standing in front.
However, Tim seemed to have underestimated Fenris’ dedication to stop him as the mighty wolf whipped him with her tail, forcing him to take a few steps back.
"...I’ll kill you all!" he roared, and even Fenris rolled her eyes at his childish declaration.
Meanwhile, Adrian and Garath were engaged in their duel. Garath’s whip shot out towards Adrian once more. Like before, Adrian dodged it... or he thought he did when the whip split into several thinner whips.
"Damn it!"
