Chapter 234: Rewards: The More The Merrier

The girls, along with Fenris, were outside, practising for their debut as Misty Sword’s elite squad. This allowed Adrian a moment of respite to count his rewards, of which there were quite a few.
First was the reward for clearing the dungeon. It wasn’t much, just some exp that Adrian couldn’t use thanks to his ascension quest and a few low-tier mana cores which he will likely sell later. The rewards had lowered significantly despite it being a high-ranking dungeon since the dungeon had been open for quite a while.
’It’s not like I was aiming for this generic loot either way,’ Adrian thought, dumping the rewards in his inventory.
However, he was interested in the other two rewards: one from his ascension quest and the other from The Blind Ruler of Justice.
Surprisingly, the reward for the second phase of his ascension quest had been upgraded. The [Organ Absorptions] skill was levelled up to level 5, unlocking a new slot for him to absorb an organ.
Adrian couldn’t help but smile, already envisioning the ways he could utilise his new slot.
’This is more than I could have hoped for,’ he thought, satisfied with the reward.
After calming his overstimulated mind, he went to open the final reward.
