Chapter 213: Time For Rewards
Adrian stood in the dimly lit room, surrounded by the bodies of his fallen enemies. The Chimaera Goblin lord lay motionless at his feet. Next to it was the mutated Shaman, its grotesque features frozen in time.
However, the monsters weren’t the only ones there. The bodies of the five human hunters lay scattered around him, their lifeless eyes staring blankly at the ceiling.
Since [Gluttony] won’t leave a single drop of blood behind, Adrian wouldn’t have to worry about cleaning up the mess or leaving any evidence behind, per se.
Following the fight between him and the White Tigers in the dungeon, Adrian had stored the corpses to consume them later. However, he decided to leave the Shaman’s corpse as it was.
’Shinon might find it useful in creating weapons. And With Vesper nearly healed, she’d also need a weapon. Hm... I should visit him soon.’
With that thought, Adrian retrieved the Shaman’s corpse, piling up the rest together. Since he could only use [Gluttony] once a day, he had to ensure he targeted all of them simultaneously.
A violently swirling vortex emerged from Adrian’s arm following the skill’s activation. One after another, the corpses were devoured and turned into stats for him.
