Adrian was baffled as the tab closed automatically. He wasn’t surprised by the tab closing but by the revelations he just had.
Why was his relationship with Sophia considered restricted information? But more importantly, the system’s response indirectly confirmed they shared some sort of relationship.
’I don’t think we had an intimate relationship. I could be wrong, though,’ Adrian mumbled, his confusion turning into a furrowed brow. ’But why would it be restricted information? What could be so significant about our relationship that it needs to be hidden?’
As far as Adrian knew, a piece of information was restricted in only two cases: first, when the system itself blocks the User from accessing certain information, and second, if an entity had requested it.
Since Adrian couldn’t see a scenario where the system would care about someone’s personal life, so he knew it wasn’t the first case.
However, he couldn’t say the same about the entities, as they often seemed to be vested in the personal aspect of the mortals. After all, it gave them more ammo to torment them with.
’So, it has to be an entity... but why?’ Adrian sighed, staring into the night sky.
He kept thinking but couldn’t find a reason for an entity to block off his memories. Eventually, he decided not to dwell on it anymore.
The system might not tell him about the relationship he once had with Sophia, but now that he knew there was some connection between them, Adrian wouldn’t mind asking Sophia about it.
