Adrian shot out, his punch directed towards Ahuli’s chest.
"Hup!" Ahuli gasped, barely deflecting Adrian’s strike.
Though Ahuli managed to deflect the attack with his only arm, the force behind Adrian’s attack left his hands numb to the point that it felt as if it would fall off at any moment.
’When did he get so strong?’ Ahuli wondered, recalling his first encounter with ’Milka’.
Even then, Adrian’s attack was decently strong, but now, it seemed to be on a different scale. Ahuli had thought it would be easy to deal with Adrian even in his condition, but that no longer seemed to be the case.
The Chieftain was unaware, but Adrian had gained several levels since their last battle. However, this wasn’t the sole reason for Ahuli’s impending defeat. He was also weaker than before, which he couldn’t ignore, no matter how much he wanted.
With him continuously losing blood, it was only a matter of time before he collapsed either from exhaustion or blood loss. But Adrian wasn’t going to let that stop him.
"Giving up already?" Adrian snarled, kicking Ahuli’s injured knee.
Ahuli’s legs buckled beneath him, forcing him to kneel. He glanced up in Adrian’s direction and saw a face filled with anger and hatred staring back at him.
