Chapter 161. The Arrival of Kaecilius

Just after Rogers sent the alert, the battlefield began to distort. Glass-like fragments shimmered into view around them, layers upon layers of translucent panes, refracting the city's light into surreal, shifting patterns.
It was as if they'd been transported to a dream.
Or, more precisely, the Mirror Dimension.
Rogers immediately sensed something was off. The dark sorcerers ahead had tensed, their confident demeanor replaced by panic.
"This kind of spellwork... that's Kamar-Taj," one of them gasped.
"Damn it it's the Mirror Dimension! Someone's tracking us!"
"Send word to Kaecilius. Now!"

They had planned a quick ritual and retreat, confident that Dormammu's shielding would block any magical surveillance.
And yet they were already compromised.
