"You just took a swing at me?"
Tony's voice was cold, mechanical, as he glared at Steve through the eye lenses of his helmet. "That shield my father made that for you."
Steve's grip tightened. "And?"
His voice broke through the rising fury.
Since Peggy's death, Bucky had been his last tether, his red line. When Bucky went after Nolan and got blown to pieces, only to be dragged back from the brink by Hydra... Steve had been willing to let it go. After all, Bucky had attacked first.
But since then, Bucky had done nothing wrong.
