Regression: Reclaiming the End

Back in the arena, Korr’Thal swung two fists in tandem, a deadly pincer move.

I barely twisted away, feeling the heat as its claws tore through the air inches from my face.

I countered with a rapid series of jabs — flame trailing each strike — but the titan’s defense was ironclad, blocking and parrying with supernatural reflexes.

One of its six arms lashed out, knocking me off balance. I stumbled, crashing hard onto the ground, the air knocked out of me.

Pain flared sharp and deep, but I refused to stay down.

Grimacing, I pushed off the stone floor, flames flickering wildly around me.

"Korr’Thal... I’m not done yet."

I summoned every ounce of strength and launched a blazing punch that connected cleanly with Korr’Thal’s jaw. The impact echoed through the arena, staggering the colossal beast backward. Flames flickered wildly as it snarled, clearly feeling the sting.

But before I could press the advantage, Korr’Thal retaliated with brutal precision.

One of its massive arms slammed into my chest like a wrecking ball.
