Next Morning
As Alex woke up, memories of last night flashed through his mind, and an involuntary smile crept onto his face. He got up and stepped outside. Selene was already standing in the corridor.
When she saw him, she smiled and walked over.
"Good morning, Alex!"
A blooming smile spread across his face.
"Good morning, Selene."
Alex followed her toward the stairs, while Hati trailed behind them, his eyes filled with silent annoyance.
On their way back from breakfast, they ran into Marshal Sebeth.
She smiled at them. "From now on, you two will be acting as White Rank soldiers. Alex, you’ll go with Hans and Hook to the town and collect more arrows from the townsfolk."
Then she turned to Selene, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Sel, you’re coming with me."
Selene’s eyes widened in surprise, but she gave a small nod.
