Chapter 75: Shadows and Secrets
In the realm of darkness, Alex and the others continued their relentless training. As the days passed.
On the other side of the realm, Meika had begun living among strange people—beings who seemed to exist in harmony with the darkness itself. Under their quiet guidance, she was learning not just to manipulate darkness, but to become one with it.
Lying on a cold stone bed inside her small igloo-shaped home, she stared up at the smooth, dark ceiling. Her mind buzzed with awe.
Their training really is efficient... In just two days, I’ve learned to control my Dark Element with a precision I never thought possible.
But what shocked me the most... was the Darkness Elemental Armor. Not even my father—a Sage—has ever mentioned anything like that. It’s unheard of in the outside world.
Resolve burned in her eyes as she stood up and stepped outside. One of the adults noticed her immediately and knelt in greeting. She waved her hand, gesturing for him to rise. Then, moving her hands down the outline of her body, she asked, "Can you show me the armor again?"
The man studied her gestures, then gave a soft hiss of understanding. With just a thought, the shadows around him surged.
Before Meika’s eyes, the armor formed.
Her breath caught.
It was a sinister armor, formed entirely from condensed Darkness Element. It clung to his body like a second skin, shadow wrapping tightly around every curve and contour—so precise it revealed the full shape of the wearer with eerie clarity. The armor didn’t reflect light; it devoured it, giving off an unnatural void-like aura. It looked less like armor, more like a living entity of pure darkness.
Only his eyes remained visible—twin glowing embers burning through the black shroud. Two small, curved horns protruded from the helmet, adding a demonic silhouette to the already fearsome figure.
