Three Months Later
Three months passed in the blink of an eye.
In the classroom, at the last desk near the window, a young man with refined features and messy white hair falling to his shoulders sat alone. Sprawled across his desk, a massive wolf lay in peaceful slumber. Its smooth grey fur covered its back, while its underbelly shimmered with sleek, purple fur. Its tail—grey at the base, purple at the tip—gently wagged across the desk, content. Its eyes remained shut, breathing soft and steady.
Alex glanced at the sleeping beast and sighed inwardly.
This lazy guy still hasn’t developed any elemental power... even after growing this huge.
At least I’ve made progress.
I reached the sixth circle in Dark Element just yesterday. I’ve refined my elemental core. Now, I can control my power more efficiently... especially with the Serpent’s Fang.
His thoughts were interrupted by two familiar figures walking toward his desk.
Selene and Rina—so different in personality, yet now close friends—had grown fond of hanging around him. Their presence had become natural.
Rina greeted him with her usual smile.
"Good morning, Alex!"
