The Forsaken Heir's Ascension

Chapter 57: The Forsaken Student and the Noble Seductress

Lyra Duskthorn opened her eyes and stretched like a cat, the silken sheets slipping from her body as she rose. She crossed the room with effortless grace, drawing open the velvet drapes. With a soft click, she unlatched the glass door and stepped onto the balcony, a haven blooming with vibrant flowers and lush greenery.

She leaned lightly on the ornate railing, letting the scent of morning blossoms mix with the salty sea breeze. Below, waves crashed against jagged rocks in a steady rhythm, and the cold air kissed her flawless skin. Golden sunlight fell across her face as the sun began to rise from the ocean’s edge.

Lyra narrowed her eyes slightly at the horizon, a faint smile curling on her lips. A memory surfaced— a boy with dark hair, violet eyes.

With a smile on her face, she turned and walked back into her room.

A short while later, she emerged from the washroom and stood before a tall mirror framed with carved brown wood and intricate golden patterns. She studied her reflection. Jet-black hair cascaded in sleek waves down her back, a few loose strands grazing her pale cheeks. Her blue eyes shimmered, matching the ethereal beauty of her features.

She wore a high-neck black sweater that clung to her form, stitched with subtle vertical lines that added a sense of elegance and restraint. A silver circular pendant rested at the center of her collarbone, glinting like a secret. The outfit enhanced her hourglass figure, the black jeans hugging her hips. In that moment, Lyra didn’t just look like a noble—she looked like a seductress carved from midnight and moonlight.

She walked into the cafeteria with graceful steps, and all eyes turned—girls filled with jealousy, and boys with desire in their gaze.

When Riven saw her, he was momentarily mesmerized. Regaining his composure, he smiled at Lyra and gave a graceful bow.

"It seems you won’t rest until you truly capture my heart, my lady."

He gently took her hand in his and, with confident steps, led her toward the private section of the cafeteria.

Alex opened his eyes to the jagged roof of the cave. Glancing to the side, he saw Hati still asleep. He sat up and stretched, preparing to step outside as the pale light of dawn slowly pushed back the remnants of night.
