One thing that Kael was proud about himself was his control over energy and it was something that came from his sheer hard work alone.
Kael wasn’t so conceited to believe that everything on him was because of his hard work. Most of his current powers came from Evolution and through luck.
Given he had to endure the worst kind of torture for three years, it still was through luck that he stumbled upon it and managed to get these powers.
But his control over energy was something he had achieved himself and he could say he was second to none back on earth at that.
This was why he was trying to find problems on other aspects rather than his own Mana control. He didn’t think he would make mistakes on such a low scale experiment.
