Chapter 90: The Grand Schemes
Rhaenor had expected the Lightwatchers to encounter Elves. The sudden appearance of the Labyrinth had attracted attention from everyone. The Elves, above all, would never ignore such signs.
Even if they didn’t want the Labyrinth for themselves, they wouldn’t let it fall into another’s hands.
’They only sent one man?’ Rhaenor mused silently. ’That fits their usual behavior. Those lofty bastards never do more than they have to.’
But now came the more pressing question.
Who was that man? Who did the Elves send?
He pondered for a second before giving a clear order.
"Go and check if any Demi-Gods have entered the Wilds. No... not just that, check if there has been any movement from the other Demi-Gods or if someone has entered our world."
"Understood!" Micheal bowed deeply, clenching his fist over his chest. "Praise the Lady!"
"Praise the Lady," Rhaenor echoed softly, eyes already lost in thought.
As Micheal disappeared outside the door, Rhaenor tried to guess the identity of the man who had appeared in the Valoran Wilds. He had suspicions of him being a minor Demi-God, but he didn’t think it was the case.
He had asked Micheal to check for Demi-God activities just to be sure there wasn’t any variable in play. For example, an otherworldly race entering their world.
