Chapter 46: I Prefer Cutie
In the distance, Kael could see a peculiar structure made above the ever-flowing lava lake. It was made from dark bricks that he recognised as Racks, a special heat-resistant stone.
The Nether Fortress was very big, with many stone bridges connecting it to the mainland land, and there were also many monsters wandering around it.
It was somehow different from how he remembered it, but that was natural, as Tharnyx had taken inspiration from the game—not entirely copied it.
’Well, heavy inspiration.’
He turned around and told Kiona, "I found the perfect farming location. I’m sure there are some spawners inside the fortress, and that’s what we came here for."
Although Kiona didn’t understand what a Spawner was, she didn’t question. She just nodded and said, "It looks dangerous, so should we go back and reunite with Jon and Seth?"
"That’s what I was thinking," Kael nodded. "It’s been almost half an hour anyway, so it’ll take some time before we reach there."
Kael had Alpha remember the location and make a map so they don’t get lost in this vast hilly area. Then, they went back using that map towards the entrance.
After almost half an hour, they reached the base of the stone bridge from where they had crossed the lava lake, but the twins weren’t in sight.
"Let’s wait for a few minutes," Kael said. "They probably found something or can’t find the way back here."
The two of them sat in silence, with Kael having his [Beast Sense] permanently on so they remained safe.
