This Forest Nation was the domain of fairies and elves, a supreme sylvan sanctuary established by all forest-dwelling races.
At the same time, the Forest Nation was also the main base of this story's major villain, Potimas!
Although he was the main antagonist and an incredibly dangerous individual, he was perfect for counterbalancing Demon Lord Ariel.
Ariel already wanted to wipe out all elves, including Potimas. The enemy of my enemy isn't necessarily my friend, but the enemy of my enemy can be effectively used to keep said enemy in check.
