How was he supposed to answer that?
Originally, he had planned to bring two beautiful women from the Daimyō's court to take care of his brother. After Tsunade shot down that idea, he had already started considering finding Izumo a partner within the village.
A jōnin might be out of reach, but there were plenty of single chūnin and genin women—more than enough for Izumo to choose from.
