Chapter 185
The little black cat stared at Michelle, but it didn’t seem to notice her suffering.
Still, seeing that she didn’t understand its nudges and nuzzles against her arm, it understood that she wasn’t fine. So it curled up next to her and waited for her to get better.
The little black cat didn’t know of the power it carried, that it was the one who caused Michelle to be in such a state. It just wanted to tell her to rest, that she was tired from treating one leopard. But Michelle suddenly collapsed.
Unable to withstand the disgusting feeling of being about to vomit, Michelle used all her strength to wobble up and walk a bit further from the two leopards.
Then, at the corner of the street, she bent her head down as another hot wave washed over her. She no longer held back the vomit, and all that she had in her stomach flew out of her mouth like a projectile.
Seeing what was happening to Michelle, the little black cat got worried, a soft meow leaving its mouth. And, as if by magic, Michelle felt a soothing wave of cold wash over her slowly, letting her relax a bit.
But she still had the disgusting taste of stomach acids in her mouth, making her frown. To get rid of it, she pushed her ice-element spirit energy into her mouth and started solidifying ice on its walls.
After the ice got thick enough, Michelle let it thaw and turn into water. She then spit it out and repeated the whole process two more times to completely get rid of the disgusting feeling.
When it was finally gone, Michelle turned to look at the little black cat.
"What was that for?" she asked with a tilt of her head, but she wasn’t really expecting an answer. From how the cat was acting, anyone could tell she didn’t know that her voice carried so much power.
Under Michelle’s gaze, the cat understood that it was probably the one who caused Michelle to be sick, making it feel guilty. It just let out a low meow and let Michelle walk to the second leopard.
