The Evil Lord's Wife Has Spirit Blood

Chapter 128

With a soft groan of pain, Michelle decided to once again start attacking the monsters and beasts since she was already at the breaking point. The pain in her whole body made every single move a torture, but except for the soft groans that escaped her lips every now and then, she didn’t show any signs of discomfort. She just swiftly swung her sickle and dagger at the creatures, her silver hair already stained red with blood. But her eyes remained purple. Her emotions were stable. She was just steadily aiming for a single goal.

Stabbing the blade of her sickle through the neck of one beast, Michelle finally felt her muscles give out, making her stumble over. Her eyes widened. She had already gone through it once in her past life, but the pain was still able to tear a painful wail out of her mouth, surprising even the creatures.

But they used the moment when Michelle stumbled to attack her again, many sending their attacks at her all at once. They had already realized how dangerous she was, so they refused to let her live. They would use every chance they had to get rid of her, since it was clear that she wouldn’t let them go even if they turned tail and ran.

Instantly sensing the attacks sent at her, Michelle sent out her dark element spirit energy to clash with the attacks while she started forming ice balls in her hands.

Then, when the ice balls were big enough, she slapped them together, and they exploded between her hands into a small, very small blizzard, which basically stayed only around her like a cloak.

With the blizzard cloak on, she formed black mist in the area where she formed the ice field when she got off the trees, planning to take away the monsters’ senses. With the black mist, they couldn’t see her. With the blizzard cloak blocking out her scent, they couldn’t smell her. And when she used her Shadow Spirit Steps, they couldn’t even hear her. The only way left for them to detect her was sensing for her spirit or soul energy, but that was nullified by the black mist since that was created by her dark element spirit energy.

Finally, the spirit of the silent killer of the 21st century woke up within her, the Mute Bloody Queen coming to life. Sneaking up on her targets was something she was the best at. And it was her favorite tactic to kill. Because when she sneaked up on someone, she didn’t just straight up kill them. She showed herself in front of them and killed them with a smile, letting them see she was the killer.

And that was exactly what she was going to do with the monsters. Blending into the black mist, she rushed to the edge of it and closed her eyes, using the spirit energy of the mist to search for the monster or beast closest to the edge. Then, she just rushed at it, and when she was right in front of it, she dispelled the black mist around it, so the monster could see her.

The monster couldn’t even properly react when it had an ice spear stabbed through its head to its tail, basically skewering it.

After about half an hour, Michelle let the black mist and the blizzard cloak disperse and collapsed on the ground, between the bloody corpses. She looked up and saw the flying creatures in the tree crowns, some prepared to attack her, and some clearly considering if it was worth it to attack her. They had seen how she was able to push herself over her limit, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she was able to defend herself against them even if she was completely exhausted.

Seeing the monsters and beasts up in the air, Michelle narrowed her eyes a bit. She had already had her fill of fighting, but she didn’t mind fighting more. But she knew she needed to rest. Her whole body was aching, and even though she had gained perfect control over every single one of her muscles, to not harm herself, she needed to give it some time. If she continued straining the muscles even more, she could really end up with a ripped tendon even if she protected her muscles with her spirit and soul energy.

Still, it was clear that some monsters and beasts still wanted to fight with her. In the end, she looked like easy prey, and they carried deep rage for her since she had caused them to lose their minds just a while ago. There wasn’t a single creature who liked to lose themselves to frenzy and chaos, and if it was because of a human, it was even more enraging to them.
