Chapter 308: A Snob

Miranda raised an eyebrow, her emerald eyes narrowing slightly as she studied Harry’s relaxed posture.

Despite her irritation, she couldn’t help but notice how the morning sun filtered through the leaves, casting dappled light across his tousled brown hair and sharp features.

The way he lounged effortlessly on the branch, with an air of nonchalance, made her heart skip a beat.

’He’s really handsome,’ She thought, a slight blush creeping up her cheeks.

The image of him, silhouetted against the golden sunlight, was almost ethereal.

She quickly shook her head, chastising herself for such thoughts. This was neither the time nor place for distractions.

Her expression turned serious as she called up to him, "Why are you just sitting there? There’s a tournament going on, you know."

Harry glanced down at her, his pitch-black eyes meeting hers with a calm, almost indifferent gaze. He shrugged, the corners of his mouth lifting in a faint smirk.

"I don’t see much point in participating," He replied nonchalantly. "Whether I do or not doesn’t really matter."

To him, it was a simple truth. He had already amassed 200 points, placing him firmly at the top of the leaderboard.

Actively hunting down other participants felt unnecessary, almost like bullying. He was already leagues above the rest; exerting more effort seemed redundant.
