Chapter 238: Into the past… or the future?
"Huh?" Harry muttered, his brows furrowing into a deep frown. "What do you mean... ’within the system’?"
"It’s just like I said, we’re in the system. All these... ’white’ you’re seeing around, it’s all within the system." The man said, taking a small pause.
"They must feel quite familiar to you. That’s because they aren’t just a bunch of white colours lumped together, they’re actually energy." The man continued, with a light smile on his face.
"Energy... all these are energy?" Harry muttered, looking around him in awe.
’How much energy would all of this be?’ He couldn’t help but wonder. With how it covered the whole room, with seemingly no end to it, it was probably over a hundred million... or even a billion energy points.
For a split second, the thought of how powerful he would be if he had all this energy to his disposal popped up in his mind, and it was beyond his imaginations.
Ignoring his surprise, the blonde haired man continued: "Whenever you complete a quest or level up, the system pulls out a little of the energy here, giving it to you as rewards."
"It’s either given to you directly as energy points, or converted into EXP, stat points, etc." The man said, causing Harry’s eyes to widen in shock.
"And what about you?" Harry suddenly asked, to which the man responded with a smile.
"Me? I do nothing... I’m just here." He said, before turning around.
"So who’s in—"
