Jiang Ziling gently rubbed his nose and his eyebrows revealed a hint of embarrassment. He couldn’t understand why Su Yu, upon seeing him able to walk on his own, not only didn’t show joy, but instead was in a poor mood.
This sudden confusion, like the night, quietly covered his heart.
Xie Xinghua led a few little maids quickly towards the kitchen, preparing to reheat the food.
These past few days, they had deliberately delayed the dining time for that if—a return of Su Yu along with Da Ya—so neither hunger would invade the hearts and stomachs of those returning home, nor would the warm food become the first solace for the soul.

Su Yu, already famished, couldn’t wait to pick up her bowl and chopsticks, devouring the long-missed delicacies, her craving for food finally released in this moment.
However, after a while, she noticed that everyone seated around the table hadn’t touched their food but were just silently watching her. She swallowed the food in her mouth and softly said, "Don’t look so gloomy, everyone, eat. Da Ya is fine, after the meal, I will tell you all in detail."
