Yixiu said, "Cousin, the Empress Dowager agrees with you calling my mother ’Mother’ because my mother is related to the Royal Family and is her granddaughter. Your grandfather is the Emperor, how could my grandfather be worthy of this title from you?"
She emphasized the word "Cousin" particularly strongly.
