Yixiu was talking with Duo Duo and Jin Wawa when Qian Mandua, together with her son Li Ahcai, happened to pass by on their way back from a meal at her parents’ house.
It had been a long time since she had seen Yixiu, so she quickened her pace, came over, and, holding onto Yixiu’s hand with a smile, she said, "Your grandparents are on that cart too, right? Why didn’t you drop by my parents’ place when you passed by our house?"

Qian Mandua laughed again and said, "Yixiu, my mother caused a scene at your house previously because she was instigated by the Qian’s first wife. They didn’t send the Qian’s first wife back to her parents’ home, so why did they send my mother back? Speak to your grandparents on my behalf and ask them to let my mother come home sooner."
Yixiu said, "Why would they listen to a child like me? You should be the one to talk to them."
Hearing Qian Mandua cursing her own grandmother, Duo Duo raised her voice and retorted, "My grandma did do something wrong, but not as bad as the second wife who went straight to the third branch to scold Grandfather. She deserved to be sent back to her parents’ home."
Qian Mandua’s face darkened as she cursed, "You wretched girl, how dare you speak like that about your elders? Clearly, it’s your grandma who is the worst and the one who most deserves to be sent back."
Duo Duo retorted, "It’s the second wife who is the worst person."
Li Ahcai was not pleased; with a slap, he pushed Duo Duo to the ground and kicked her twice, cursing viciously, "If you dare to insult my grandmother again, I’ll kick you to death."
Duo Duo immediately burst into tears, and Jin Wawa was scared into crying as well.
