Night had fallen, stars scattered across the sky, when the carriage finally arrived at the entrance of Darong Village. Wan Dazhong, however, did not get off. He said, "First, let’s take Third Uncle Qian home and then I’ll walk back."
Wong Liang laughed, "Third Uncle Qian, you’ve found a good son-in-law."
Qian Sangui smiled and nodded, "Yes, Da Zhong is a good lad."
The carriage arrived at the west end of Huaxi Village. Under the starlight, the wild was filled with fragrant blossoms. At the end of the wilderness stood the large compound, with the mysterious Xishi Mountain behind it.
Gone for not quite ten days, Qian Yixiu missed this place so much.
When they were still five or six dozen meters away from the entrance to their home, they saw a red figure leap from the wall and run towards them. Arriving beside the carriage, it jumped up onto the seated Wan Dazhong, then flipped into the carriage and onto Qian Yixiu, hugging, and calling out joyfully.
Qian Yixiu laughed as she pinched its neck, "Monkey Brother missed me, and I missed you too."
