"Yes," the guard saluted and promptly went to fulfill the command.

"What’s the hurry?" Shitou glanced at him and didn’t plan to reveal it right away. It seemed that relying on facts to speak would be somewhat more convincing.
Whining, Lu Chentao had no choice but to resign himself to sitting there patiently waiting for the laboratory results.
The Goosefoot Grass was soon retrieved, and, following Shitou’s instructions, its roots, tubers, and berries were all tested separately.
With Shitou’s words as a clue and combining both aspects, the final test results came out quickly, not long after Pei Sen returned. The powder contained tuber powder from the Goosefoot Grass, and consuming large amounts of the plant’s tubers could damage a person’s brain, suspected to cause irreversible harm to cultivators.
