Rebirth Counterattack with Space

Chapter 513 - 493: Extra - Endless Star Sea (Part 2)

Sitting in the spacious custom-made flying car that could accommodate up to ten people, Lu Yun looked out of the window at the buildings that kept receding into the distance. From outside the window, it was clearly evident that the urban construction of Yunhua Star had already taken on the form of the cosmic age, with each skyscraper having at least two hundred floors, densely packed across the landscape.

Apart from the entrances at the bottom, each building had designated heights where flying cars could freely enter and exit through variously sized portals.

On Yunhua Star, the ground level was off-limits to ordinary citizens’ land vehicles. In fact, there were hardly any land vehicles left on Yunhua Star. Those immigrants from Earth who wished to transport their treasured land vehicle antiques would have to pay a fortune for the freight—so much so they could buy over a hundred of the latest model flying cars instead.

It was nothing less than pandemonium worldwide when China, a decade ago, first manufactured the flying car, brimming with strong sci-fi elements, and massively released it to the civilian market.

People around the world, especially those from a certain country that still deluded itself into thinking it was the sole superpower, rubbed their eyes again and again, even scraped the sleep from the corners of their eyes clean several times over, but still refused to admit that they had long fallen behind the mystic East by more than a street.

Then there were those countries notorious for shamelessly claiming others’ inventions as their own with such incredible audacity that it was bewildering. They attempted to convince the world like buffoons that China had shamefully stolen their "fruits of victory," hopping madly and protesting loudly, treating the global populace as if they were fools.

Regrettably for them, the world was running short on fools.

Without a single nation capable of producing even a flying car with "wings"—one that was ten times clumsier and able to hover only for a few minutes—believing that China’s unique flying cars were pilfered from others was nothing but a colossal joke.

Besides, those days were long gone.

It wasn’t until the advent of the flying car that everyone abruptly woke up, uncovering plenty of high-tech civilian products that China had discreetly released over the years, the kinds only seen in sci-fi movies...

If civilian technology was already so advanced, what about the military?
