Lu Yun and Shitou took turns looking through all the photos, and the deeper they looked, the deeper their frowns became.
Putting several photos together, one could roughly make out a gigantic silver-gray ellipsoid. That colossal object indeed bore an uncanny resemblance to a flying saucer and was also close to the appearance of the Cosmic Spaceship depicted in the messages received by Lu Yun.
However, there was one characteristic common to all the photos—they were blurry.
Each one captured only a small part of the vast entity, appearing as if it was smudged into an indistinct mass. If one were to rely solely on such individual photos, nothing could be discerned at all.
"These are photos taken at the bottom of the sea with the protective suits you provided. Sadly, no matter how many underwater cameras or video cameras we send down, the images all turn out like this. The photos, at least, seem like they have been smeared with something, making it hard to see clearly, but at least there’s some shadow. The footage from the underwater cameras, on the other hand, comes back as nothing but dark, indistinct masses."
Seeing both of them furrow their brows at the same time, Pei Qingyuan spoke up to explain.
"It seems we’ll have to go to the site and see the object in person."
Shitou murmured thoughtfully, feeling no need to conceal anything from Qingyuan, he said naturally, "Xiaoyun has the legacy mark her master left behind. If that indeed is a Cosmic Spaceship and it was left by her master, she truly has a way to get in. But if it’s not, we can’t be sure; we can only try our best to see if we can break through the ship’s outer shield."
