"I can’t believe your family is actually quite wealthy. You really keep a low profile. What do your parents do, and why do you have an uncle in the Capital City if you’re not from there?"
Wu Xiuyu came over, curious. She was a class officer and had a bit of an understanding of her classmates’ backgrounds. Lu Yun had enrolled at B University as the top scorer from a certain province’s college entrance exam.
She was always curious about her, thinking that being an exam top scorer was such a prestigious thing, she could even boast about it to her parents and younger brother when she got back home. Unfortunately, although Xiuyu had been classmates with her for an entire academic year, having gone through two semesters, she never really had the chance to get close to her.
Just now, she and several other class officers had seen the items Lu Yun brought in, and while discussing how to distribute them, they were surprised to find that everything had already been cleaned, neatly packed in separate ziplock bags, and placed in cardboard boxes.
The fish and meat not only had been processed and cut into appropriate sizes, but they were also thoughtfully labeled with the type of meat, which was really considerate.
"Just a small business. My family worried about me when I came to study in the Capital City, so they followed me here," Lu Yun said indifferently.
"That’s possible?"
Wu Xiuyu was stunned for a moment, and then examined Lu Yun from head to toe. Lu Yun wasn’t wearing fashionable leggings like everyone else, but instead a simple, fruit-green blouse with black trousers and a pair of white sneakers. The only piece of jewelry she wore was a plum blossom watch on her wrist.
