The black minivan slowly headed towards another fork in the road, moving further and further away from Ping’an Prison.
Inside the vehicle, Lin Fei sat in the passenger seat, while Chen Chen drove in silence. The three prisoners in the back were freely seated.
As the prison got farther away, surrounded by a forest of trees with hardly any human trace, Zhang Wenwei couldn’t help but speak up.
"So, where exactly are we heading?"
Lin Fei turned around, sizing up Zhang Wenwei without a word. The other woman remained silent too.
Zhang Wenwei couldn’t figure out their intentions and stopped talking. He just gently nudged the prisoner next to him.
"I... I urgently need to pee... can we stop the car so I can take care of some personal business?" The person immediately shouted out loud.
Right in front, there was a small forest trail extending into the trees on the left side of the highway, just wide enough for a car to pass through.
"Let’s stop right here, let him take care of his personal business," Lin Fei said lightly.
Chen Chen nodded, and the minivan gradually slowed down, coming to a stop at the fork in the road.
