Chapter 163: Dao Foundation Nine Grades, No Regretting?
Option One: The most basic one was to sacrifice eight techniques to nurture a principle one, achieving a Magic Door and forming the most common lower three-grade Dao Foundation.
In other words, when the Nine Techniques merged, one would serve as the main body, with the remaining eight as auxiliary, only retaining the effect of one technique and enhancing it to achieve a Magic Door ultimately.
Most people choosing this path would pick one direction for their Nine Techniques.
For example, during their child phase, one would learn nine speed techniques, like Godspeed, Featherfall, Gale, etc. Upon advancing to the melting phase, one would use eight speed techniques as the foundation and one as the core, gathering the power of the eight techniques to nourish one, ultimately achieving a lower grade Technique in the speed direction.
The Dao Foundation created in this way was mostly of the Lower Three Grades, even supplemented with Class A spiritual items, it would only reach the Middle Three Grades, and a Fourth Grade Dao Foundation at most, rarely making it to the Upper Three Grades.
Option Two: Still following the precedent, but with a comprehensive set of Nine Techniques, ultimately forming a new Magic Door.
The result still was to strengthen one technique and achieve the Power of the Magic Door, but the remaining eight techniques would have their functionalities retained to a certain extent. Of course, only one technique would possess the Power of the Magic Door.
The remaining eight techniques would only be moderately strengthened.
Such a Dao Foundation generally sat between the Lower Three Grades and Middle Three Grades. Only those able to obtain Class A spiritual items, coupled with a stroke of luck, could barely make it into the Upper Three Grades.
The final option was to fuse the Nine Techniques independently, initiating a new system, constructing a Magic Door of one’s own.
The Dao Foundation built through this way not only preserved the effects of all nine techniques but also spawn an extra power of one’s own Magic Door.
