Chapter 140: Search
After roughly understanding their thoughts, Wang Zijia pondered for a moment and didn’t raise any objections nor demanded to go to the Central District immediately.
As the three of them journeyed together, Wang Zijia noticed that the corner of Number Thirteen and Number Two’s eyes were always subtly observing him, as if searching for his defensive measures.
In an unruffled manner, Wang Zijia had no intention of explaining.
Both parties did not trust each other and were very restrained, avoiding potential conflicts.
After a while, the group passed through half of the city district and arrived at the East District, where a not-so-large mountain range lay.
Describing it as the East District was not quite right, as Nanfei Market was built upon this mountain range. The mountain range was not high, but the environment was quite pleasant. The trees were lush and green and the spiritual energy rose amidst the misty mountains.
There were not many buildings at the foot of the mountain, only a grand Reception Courtyard.
When Wang Zijia and his group arrived, two manservants immediately greeted them, respectfully saluting the three of them and asking, "Welcome, esteemed Immortal Elders, are you here to rent a Cave Mansion?"
Wang Zijia glanced at one of the manservants and his expression flickered for a moment; he had seen this man before at the entrance to the Ginseng Garden.
Now, however, there was no magical power fluctuation from him, and he was dressed ordinarily with a clueless look in his eyes, as if he were truly a market square errand boy.
Wang Zijia and the other two exchanged glances and finally, Number Two spoke, "We just arrived at your market and plan to stay for a while, so we really need to rent a Cave Mansion for a few days for cultivation."
