Chapter 330: Father Lu gets punished
"Aaah mother! You are hurting me!"
Jane immediately shouted, expressing her displeasure as her mother tried to button up her wedding gown, only for them to realize that indeed it needed to be altered now that their baby girl was pregnant.
"Oh my baby, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. I did not heed your state!"
"I’m reporting you to dad."
Jane just pouted as she looked the other way and all the servants that were around, those who had brought the gown, and of course those who were busy working, couldn’t help but feel their lips twitch in a funny manner because they couldn’t believe that this girl was acting so spoilt and yet this is the same Jane that is known for her cold looks, her cold words and of course, her sharp tongue.
"Indeed, new environments bring out new situations in people."
"What are you gonna tell dad?"
It was at this exact moment that Father Lu arrived and on hearing her father’s voice, Jane immediately stood up and rushed towards him, not listening or heeding to the words of the women behind her who were urging her to go slowly because the gown is extremely heavy and of course she is equally pregnant.
"Dad. Mom forgot about me. Imagine I... she.... she forgot that her daughter is carrying a baby. She wanted to button up my gown in a tight manner and... my baby.... That is why you have to seek justice for your daughter and your incoming grandchild."
Father Lu heard the rant of his only daughter and couldn’t help but feel his eyelid twitch because wow, when did she become so childish? Indeed pregnancy brings out funny and different emotions in different people.
He turned to look at his wife, only to see her rolling her eyes at him as she muttered the word dramatic, making him inwardly chuckle as he just comforted the girl in his arms because he was not trying to anger any of these two women.
